What Should You Do With Your Anxiety? | 1 Peter 5:7

Watch the Quick Truth reel here: What Should You Do With Your Anxiety?

What should you do with the worries you cannot shut off?

In 1 Peter 5:7, the Bible says:

“Casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.” (CSB)

Peter wrote to believers facing suffering, uncertainty, and opposition. He reminded them to humble themselves under God’s mighty hand and entrust their burdens to Him.

God does not tell us to pretend our anxieties are not real. He invites us to place them into His care because His concern for His people is personal and genuine.

Main Truth

We can entrust every anxiety to God because He truly cares for us.

Application

When worry begins to take control, name the burden before God, surrender it to Him in prayer, and remember that you are not carrying it alone.

Soli Deo Gloria

To God alone be the glory.
